The official list of April's Regal Modeling Runway Styling Challengers has been selected and it's time to meet our most influential who've impacted humankind...

Disclaimer: The following quotes are written by the competing April models who've given permission to publish their descriptions. These descriptions provided will be judged as part of their total scores.

Dandy Coveria-Hawker (andrijiko coveria) as RuPaul Andre Charles

"Everyone needs someone to look up to...we all have idols that influence our lives, but few influence our very self-image in positive ways, RuPaul Andre Charles is one of those iconic few. RuPaul is an American drag queen, actor, model, singer, songwriter, author, and television personality. His reality competition series, RuPaul's Drag Race, received two Primetime Emmy Awards in 2016 and 2017. RuPaul is said to be the most commercially successful drag queen in America, and he was one of Time's list of 100 of the most influential people in the world. As a gay man, I've struggled with my self-image, and with understanding the delicate balance of my personal expression. In my mind, RuPaul embodies that fluidity, and validates the beauty and fluidity of the spirit inside each perfect human being. Each human, both male and female, have and express aspects of both genders, in different ways. It is only in recent years that American society is coming to embrace the beauty of both...in every person. RuPaul has most certainly influenced that growth and openness, and validated those of us who've struggled with not fitting into the boxed image that has dominated our world."

Kaid Hawker-Coveria (kaid hawker) as David Bowie

"Is there Life on Mars? If anyone has the answer to that question, it's David Bowie...or perhaps Kaid Hawker, as he pays tribute to the iconic rocker. When we think of influential people, there are many legends, but none more dramatic and memorable than David Bowie.  An English singer, songwriter, and actor, Bowie was incredibly influential in popular music for over five decades. He's been acclaimed by peers for his innovative work, and his career was earmarked by reinvention and visual presentation. He is one of the world's best-selling music artists, and in the UK, was awarded 9 platinum album certifications, 11 gold, and eight silver. He released 11 number-one albums. In the U.S,, Bowie received 5 platinum and 9 gold certificates, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996. For more than half a century, Bowie impacted the world as a musician, actor, artist, and icon. He influenced music, art, and fashion. He was--and in many minds still is--a unique and indelible part of contemporary culture."

Dakota Lavarock as Walt Disney

"Influential people.  Much could be said on this subject.  There are bad influences, and there are good influences.  Dakota prefers to shine her spotlight on the good. Some of the most influential people the world has ever known are artists.  They are opinion leaders and trend setters.  Where the artist goes, others follow.  Some artists have short careers, other have much longer careers, and one such artist is Mister Walt Disney. Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901 and left his life behind on December 15, 1966, after 65 years of contributions to mankind.  His name is a household word in countries around the world, and his classic movies and characters are known by sight by young and old alike. There are very few who have not seen at least one of Walt Disney’s movies, and he produced many movies, from one of his first movies, the animated Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937, to following animated classics such as Bambi in 1942, Lady and the Tramp in 1955, and 101 Dalmations in 1961.  In addition, Mister Disney produced many non-animated classics, as well, such as The Absent-Minded Professor in 1961 and Mary Poppins in 1964. In fact, so fantastic are his movies that Mister Disney holds the record for most Academy Awards earned by an individual, with 22 Oscars and 59 nominations. He has two Golden Globe awards, an Emmy Award, and several other honors.  Several of his films have been chosen by the Library of Congress to be included in the National Film Registry.  All this is an amazing and fantastic lifetime achievement. When people think of Walt Disney, they think immediately of cartoons and movies.  However, Mister Disney’s sphere of influence goes far beyond being a cartoonist and movie producer.  He helped revolutionize the film industry when he agreed to use Technicolor’s newest process for making color films, and he developed a process to use for making animated motion pictures.  He also introduced synchronized sound for movies.  His contributions forever changed the movie industry. Mister Disney also ventured into the world of television programs, including Walt Disney’s Disneyland and The Mickey Mouse Club, touching the lives of many. Of course, who does not know of Disneyland and Disney World? People the world over plan their vacations to go to these wonderful amusement parks.  Disneyland has the highest attendance of any amusement park in the world.  If you show a picture of Sleeping Beauty Castle, the icon of Disneyland, to anyone of almost any age from almost any country in the world, they immediately recognize it as the castle at the Disneyland Park.  Mister Disney designed the park and supervised its construction, himself, an impressive feat. Mister Disney was also called on to help with the planning of several popular world cultural events. He helped plan the 1959 Moscow Fair, the 1960 Winter Olympics, and the 1964 New York World’s Fair. Mister Disney affected the lives of millions of people the world over, with his contributions to animation and film-making, his television shows, his amusement parks, and his lesser-known influences, as well.  He made an impact on cultural history that will forever stay with mankind, making him one of the world’s most influential people in history."
